Super Vel 10mm 160gr SCHP +P Ammo - 20 Rounds
Super Vel AmmunitionConceived by Col. Jeff Cooper as the ultimate "fighting cartridge" and chambered for the Bren Ten pistol, the 10mm Auto debuted in 1983 with all the attributes Col. Cooper deemed vital for a manstopping caliber. The bore is big (.40 caliber), the bullet weight heavy, the expansion dramatic, the pistol a blend of the 1911 and the CZ-75. The 10mm Auto went for quite a ride in the decades since, from the issue-round of the FBI (in a S&W Model 1076) to very nearly lost on the ash heap of ballistic history, all but abandoned by handgun manufacturers. However, the 10mm Auto has enjoyed a tremendous comeback and is now one of the most popular handgun hunting cartridges thanks to better pistols with longer barrels (to achieve the velocity the 10mm is capable of producing) and better bullets. Super Vel's new 10mm Auto load is the best load yet, a 160 gr. Solid Copper Hollow Point at an honest 1,250 fps from a Bren Ten. (Other real-world velocities from other pistols are listed on their Technical Data pull-down page.) The SCHP bullet is designed to spread six cutting petals upon expansion, which occurs within the first inch of impact. Penetration is exceptional, averaging 15 to 18 inches in ballistic gel. Expansion is dramatic, over .800 caliber with six sharp cutting petals. Super Vel's 10mm Auto generates 555 ft/lbs of energy, making it legal for hunting in states with a floor of 500 ft/lbs.

excellent
This ammo blew me away not just because it scored 1289 fps 5rd average on my chronograph but also because of its insane accuracy I can take this ammo out to 100 yards and hit a 12×12 target 10 times out of 10 with my Dan Wesson Bruin in my opinion this is one of the best 10 rounds out there highly recommend
