Great practice round.

This round makes the recoil of the 500 S&W vary controllable and is not a problem to fire off a lot of rounds add in decent accuracy and its all you need at the range .

Ventura’s service is excellent and had what I wanted in stock when I couldn’t find it anywhere in southern Arizona. Armscor’s powder and bullet combination is easy to train with and packs a tremendous amount of energy with a flat trajectory to 100 meters from my BHA M89. I can’t imagine using any other round.

Blasting on a budget

Not the hottest 500 magnum out there, but, with the bargain price and an XTP slug, you could do a lot worse. Thankfully, it looks like they've stepped up their game by emulating HSM's 4 separate inner boxes, which is both convenient, and protects the individual rounds much better than their old flimsy box which tended to fall apart under the weight of the rounds if they weren't packed well for shipping.

The load feels light for 500 mag. Adequate for range use. A fair value for the dollar.

This is a fun to shoot ammo because it has much less recoil than the true Mag ammo. Not sure there are 20 rounds in each box. Will count as used from the next sealed box. Have had two rounds that failed to fire but they did fire when cycled the second time.

Bought five boxes, very good price. But i'm having a lot of primer strikes with no round fire. Other ammo fires fine.
