      quality ammo for decent price

Posted by Unknown on 14th Dec 2013

Decent price compared to others who are selling at a over inflated price. Im still in shock what 22lr sell for now but it is what it is. If a seller selling ammo at a very high price.... please do not buy.....

      High Velocity

Posted by Mike G. on 13th Dec 2013

I own a few .22 caliber firearms. I have an ISSC pistol that is very picky about the ammunition it will cycle. This ammunition cycled flawlessly for a few hundred rounds without a misfire or jam. Excellent ammunition at a great price.

      Cost effective

Posted by JoelinFl on 13th Dec 2013

I bought 1000 rounds when it became available. The first thing I noticed was that the bullets are a little loose in the casings. Not enough to render them defective, but it was noticeable, especially when compared to the Federal and CCI ammo I have more recently purchased. I fired off 100 rounds at the range with my new Remington 597 and they performed ok, with 4 FTF out of 100. One thing I did notice is that the brass seems to be a bit thin and easily dented when squeezing those last couple of rounds in the magazine. The Federal 36gr copper plated hollow points that I loaded show no such propensity for denting under identical circumstances, so I question the quality of the brass being used by Aguila. All things considered this is ammo I would buy again only if I couldn't find what I wanted in good ol' USA produced ammo.

      Quality product

Posted by Unknown on 6th Dec 2013

This is a great product equal in quality to Remington Golden Bullets or any of the Winchester 22LRs. I have fired them in Ruger 10/22, Marlin 795, Taurus PT-22, and Ruger Mk-1 without any malfunctions. No significant fouling after numerous rounds.

      surprised

Son turned his nose up when I asked him to try it. After trying it,he now wants the other 500 rounds I purchased. The first 500 only missed one or two rounds out of a S & W MP15/22.

      Top rated value

Posted by Unknown on 4th Dec 2013

I was looking for a high velocity .22lr round to shoot out of my Ruger 10/22. The Aquila 40gr.HP fits my needs. The copper plated HP cuts down on fouling and the 1280 fps has the velocity that I was looking for. In a time when many ammo sellers are charging inflated prices,Ventura is showing loyalty to its customers by charging a very good price for a quality ammunition. This is why I rate this a Top rated value. When I get ready to purchase again,Ventura Munitions is one of the first websites I look for.

      Aguila SuperExtra .22 LR

This particular round is specifically recommended by Smith & Wesson for use with their M&P15-22. Cycles flawlessly without a hiccup. If this ammo doesn't cycle your semi-auto .22, it's your gun not the ammo. I bought a 1000 rounds...wish I had bought more. Ventura Munitions ships FAST!!

Works fine in my Browning Buckmark, including in rapid fire.
