  1. Cycles ks47 and is hearing safe.

Used this with a 16 inch ks47. Cycles just fine and is hearing safe. Sometimes you will hear one crack so they are on the edge of the sound barrier. I haven't done any grouping but seems to be good enough.

  2. Surprisingly Quiet, effective rounds.

I was worried about the Sub Sonic's stopping power but it worked just fine on pigs within 100 yards. The coolest part was being able to see my bullets travel to the target on my thermal..

  3. Great subsonic rounds for 7.62x39

Posted by Rodney R on 31st Jul 2021

Haven’t received my suppressor yet, but the Ammo was quieter than regular ammunition and it cycled perfectly in my rifle unlike some of the reviews I read on this particular ammo

  4. Quiet effective rounds

Posted by Jeff M on 12th Jan 2021

When i purchased my 7.62x39 ar upper not long ago, i needed some subsonic rounds to go with my homemade form 1 suppressor (10in in length, 3/4 the diameter of a pringles can). I bought 200 rounds of this ammo and i couldn't be more satisfied with the noise reduction that these rounds give.

With my ear pro off, i popped off a few rounds with my Rare Breed FRT and even at fully semi-auto, these rounds can still cycle properly with no adjustments needed.

5 out of 5 will buy subs by brown bear again if it ever comes back in stock.

  5. Surprisingly good suppressed ammo

Posted by Joe on 23rd Nov 2020

Been running this stuff for about 300 rounds. Runs great in my PSA AR47. Little blow back and accurate out as heck at 50yrds. I bought more and pig hunted with it. Took two, rest ran due to my noisy bolt. Good stuff.

  7. Best factory subs for the 7.62 x 39

Posted by Aquaelf on 10th Nov 2020

If you like to suppress 30 cal rounds like 300 blk or 308
This ammo gives you another option they are right on the edge of subsonic depending on the air temperature and humidity so buyer beware

  8. 7.62x39 subsonic ammo that will cycle

Posted by mike on 16th Dec 2019

    Ammo is as advertised
Will cycle in an ar15 platform without issue
Surprised at how tight it will shoot to be such an enexpensive round
    Super quiet with a suppressor
    Will purchase much more

  9. Good for home defense

Posted by JtScott on 17th Sep 2019

purchase and delivery as advertised. ammo cycled through a rock river arms LAR-47 w/ a 28dbl. suppressor, no problem! That said it was quieter but not subsonic. we found some ballistic data on line that indicated it had a 1115 fps. Would make for a good home defense round and would recommend it for such!

  10. GalilAcePistol+DeadAirWolverine+SubSonicBrownBear= FUN

Posted by Xoce on 20th Jul 2019

Merge this with the KNS ADJ Piston and your good to go.
After Adj were made Ammo Ran 100% no problems.
My Galil Ace Pistol is my go to so I only tested the 1st batch with said Pistol.
Since I was testing reliability Mostly I only Shot at 25 Yrds,
So no real Accuracy test was done. (That being said I was pretty much getting 3/4 of an inch)
Obviously I took off my ears using the Subsonic ammo,
And it was more quiet then expected. This stuff made my pistol very dirty (60 rounds worth) but no big deal.
This is a Great alternative to that Crazy Expensive Atomic Subsonic ammo which is Brass and Cleaner, Vs this is Steel Cased and not so clean.
I will be buying More to Test on full Sized 7.62x39 Rifles/RPKs and accuracy out to 200yrds
    BUY IT!!..
